Cabin Wreath
My wife grew up in Indiana. While paying a visit to her home I came upon a hand-hewed cabin with a rustic wreath hanging on its wall. I liked the texture and detail of the logs along with the charm of the window. Look close and you can see herbs drying inside the cabin and a rear window looking out into the woods. A quality log cabin was built from squared hewed logs instead of round logs. Rain would roll over the round logs and settle in the chinking making the wood rot. The squared logs shed the water much better.
