Churn and Butter Press
This small painting was done from a butter churn and butter press my Grandma gave me. They belonged to her mother and used at the turn of the century. They started housekeeping in a small log cabin in the hills of western Pennsylvania where my Great Grandpa worked in a saw mill. I sat this composition up in my studio to paint from.
