Dangerous Situation
A war party allied to the French searches the heavy wood for a scout from the famous "Rogers Rangers". Being separated and cut off from your main patrol was always a threat for these men. Coming upon a war party by surprise this young scout was discovered, and after a lengthy run took cover in a wilderness rock outcropping. Hidden in the deep shadows his hope is that the war party will pass him by. He is armed with his Brown Bess musket and also carries a tomahawk and hunting knife. Not much protection but he does stand a strong chance of escape since Rogers trained his men for just this type of warfare. They were unconventional for their time fighting in a hit and run Indian style. The viewer can only guess at the outcome.
