The Mill Window
I came across this grist mill during a hot muggy summer day. Once you step into the fieldstone building you are instantly cooled, and you can smell the moist grain aroma. As I walked around I was struck by this window and the beautiful pattern of light on the wooded interior wall and the floor. The bright outside foliage created a wonderful contrast to the dark textured interior of the old grist mill.
